Overall – (3 / 5)
More flavours come out as it breathes in the glass, the taste at first sip was harsh and bitter, but it only improved over time. There were hits of buttescotch and slightly sour citrus taste.
The slight burn in the throat and mouth makes you take note of the pepper, and it lingers pleasantly long after the drink is done – making this a very spicy rye.
Pleasant sipping whisky, best left to sit and breath or drunk slowly.
